Biography:
Sam is a Northern California/Bay Area native and a graduate of the UC system. In addition to a 22-year career teaching college English (including Foothill College since 2002), Sam is a published historian and a veteran journalist. He also was once an Ironman triathlete and remains a certified triathlon coach. Sam has additional professional chops as a copy editor and marketing/communications veteran in Silicon Valley dating back to 1996, and he has graduate degrees in education, English, and history.
