Microaggressions in Everyday Life: Recognizing and Addressing Implicit Biases

Maryam Daha, M.A., has extensive experience working with children, families and teachers from diverse backgrounds. She is a member of the faculty in the Foothill College Child Development and Education Department.
Maryam holds Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education and Social Foundations in Education from Stanford University. She is a published author on the topic of implicit bias and microaggressions, and has done research exploring ethnic identity development and bicultural socialization.
