I teach ESCI 1 (De Anza), ESCI 19 (De Anza), Biol 10 (Foothill), Biol 14 (Foothill), and Biol 41 (Foothill).

Marine biologist and oceanographer with 15 years of teaching and research experience in environmental sciences, biology, ecology, marine biology, oceanography, climate change, polar ecosystems (research expeditions to Antarctica), microbiology, molecular biology, and �omics. I bring my research experience and nerdy enthusiasm for science into the classroom and hope to inspire you and teach you critical skills that will help you succeed in the courses, as well as in your professional career. Be ready to work with your classmates, make mistakes and learn from them, & ask lots of questions to discover lots of cool new stuff in the fields of Biology and Environmental Sciences.
