Jay Patyk began his career as a professional educator here at Foothill College in 1999. Initially hired as a Part-Time Instructor in Economics, he became a Full-Time faculty member in the Winter Quarter of 2000. Prior to joining Foothill, he spent almost nine years in the private sector employed in various capacities, primarily in Sales and Marketing Management. He holds an MA in Economics from San Jose State University, a BS in Business Administration-Management from San Jose State University, and an AA in Industrial Arts from San Jose City College.
