Hey! Welcome to my page. If you're here, I'm guessing you got curious after (before?) registering for one of my courses. Should you decide to take my class, I'm sure you'll get to know me, but here's a little more info so you know just what you (almost?) walked into.

I've taught ENGL 1A and 1B at Foothill since 2016. I have taught online, face-to-face, and hybrid courses, and I am always looking for new ways to center you--the student--in my curriculum. I try to give my students a lot of choice in the things we'll read and write about, and I also spend much time looking into relevant topics that will inspire thoughtful discussion and spirited-but-respectful exchange of ideas. I'm passionate about my field and hope to share, with you, my enthusiasm for reading and writing--and that you'll leave the class a little more enthusiastic, as well!

In addition to teaching courses for the English Department, I am also a faculty tutor at the Writing & Language Center (stop by to say "hi"!), and I am full-time faculty for Online Learning.
