Elected or appointed ICC student club representatives meet weekly with the ASFC elected VP of ICC and advising Student Activities Specialist on Tuesdays to vote on all club activation/reactivations, fund request forms, and activity petitions.
The club council offers students an opportunity to witness, learn, practice and enhance basic business practices, cultural competency, event coordinating, budgeting, communications, power skills and parliamentary procedure, while enjoying club cross collaboration and community while presenting paperwork, making club announcements, partaking in quarterly Club Day and much more!
The ICC rep is the required liaison for the club, and their service leadership role consists of voting on all actionable items with their club's purpose statement, constitution and best interest in mind.
The ICC rep is the public information officer and liaison for the club. An average of 70 club reps per quarter complete learning outcomes, such as parliamentary procedure, time management, basic business practices, budgeting, public relations standards, cultural competency, event coordinating practices, speech communications, persuasion, trouble shooting, critical thinking and much more. Being a club leader proves commitment, collaboration, compassion, cultural competency and much more and is a part of a students personal and professional portfolio, college applications and job resume.
