Our virtual office will be open during our regular service hours for general questions and to schedule Spring 2021 appointments.

In Case of a Psychiatric Emergency

If you are . . .

  • a student experiencing a life-threatening psychiatric emergency
  • or emailing about a student experiencing a life-threatening psychiatric emergency

Please call 911 or the FHDA Police Dispatch at 408. 924.8000 with the following information:

  • Full name of the student
  • CWID
  • The physical location of the student, if known
  • The phone number or email address of the student

We offer the same caring services online by Phone & Zoom!

Now that Foothill has moved to a Virtual Campus, our Psychological Services counselors are  operating remotely with regular appointments and drop-in hours.

The process to make an appointment is still the same.  The difference is we will meet by Zoom or telephone until we are able to come back to campus. Our physical office is currently closed.

Urgent & Drop-In Counseling Via Zoom Or Phone Available

Counselors are available Monday-Friday at Noon–1 p.m. for brief 15–20-minute drop-in appointments.

Please contact our office at 650.949.7910 a few minutes before 12 Noon on the day you would like to be seen, and you will be provided the Zoom information on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cost: You get up to 8 free sessions per school year!
