Our Mission
Comprised of Foothill faculty, staff, and administrators, Organización Latino Americana (OLA) fosters the academic success of Foothill College students of Latino descent through community building, advocacy, and the facilitation of support services. In addition, OLA promotes the awareness of diverse Latino culture and heritage.

October is Latinx Heritage Month
During the month of October, Foothill students, led by an O.L.A. advisor, create and present programming that highlights the diversity of Latino/a culture, including their unique issues and challenges, as well as their achievements and contributions within the United States context.

Reconocimiento
O.L.A. hosts a recognition ceremony every year to honor Foothill students who are graduating, earning a certificate of achievement, or transferring to a four-year university to complete their studies.
