Support for Academic Success

If you need help in a class, you're not alone! We offer tutoring programs to help you succeed with your academic goals. Use all available resources early to get the best start in your classes. We are here to help!

Foothill College Virtual Tutoring

April 13–June 26  •  Spring 2020

We use Zoom to pair you with a tutor. You'll need a quiet space and a computer with a microphone to participate.

Steps to Meet with a Tutor

  1. SELECT program from dropdown menu for tutoring hours.
  2. LOG INTO CANVAS
  3. FIND the Student Support Portal or Tutoring Link on the left menu.

PASS THE TORCH — Peer-to-peer tutoring for core courses in English, ESLL and Math

MONDAY–THURSDAY: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
FRIDAY: 8 a.m.–Noon

Pass the Torch teams will meet online via ZOOM, according to team schedules. For more information, contact Elvia Herrera by email at herreraelvia@fhda.edu.

MONDAY–THURSDAY: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
MONDAY–THURSDAY: 9 p.m.–12 midnight (CS ONLY)
FRIDAY: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
SATURDAY: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
SUNDAY: 12 noon–12 midnight (CS ONLY)

Provides a summer review session for students interested in preparing for an English placement retest.
