Testing & Assessment Center
Welcome to the Testing & Assessment Center! You are in the right place to get recommendations on taking your first Math, English, ESLL, and Chemistry courses. If you are new to Foothill College, you may have already received your recommendations when you applied that explains which courses are most appropriate to take.
Our Services Course Placement Recommendations Since the implementation of CA Assembly Bill 705 (AB705), Foothill College uses multiple measures – high school transcripts and guided self-placement assessments– to make recommendations for taking your first Math, English, ESLL, and Chemistry courses. For more information about Chemistry 1A Placement, see our Chemistry 1A Placement Survey. Click here to learn more about the guided-self placement process.
Accommodated Testing Accommodations or Course Adjustments/Auxiliary Aids provide equitable access to classroom instruction, materials, programs, or facilities; and are determined on an individual basis by the Disability Resource Center (DRC).
