Anthropology Instructor

Business and Social Sciences Division

Foothill campus

I am socio-cultural anthropologist and have worked the past 9 years in a variety of higher ed institutions throughout the country, including teaching anthropology courses in medium and maximum security correctional facilities. I'm originally from Indiana and a first-generation college graduate. I completed my undergraduate degree in Indiana, but decided to complete all my graduate work overseas at the London School of Economics and Sussex University. My research examines the intersection between West African indigenous religions and transnational flows of ideas and resources centered on human rights and contemporary forms of slavery.
