The Foothill College Technology Committee is currently seeking new members to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of technology on our campus and ensure our tools and systems reflect the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.

Committee Charge (Academic Year 2025-26)

The Technology Committee is charged with collecting and synthesizing feedback and data needs from students, faculty, classified professionals, and administrators to guide development of the college’s Technology Plan. The committee will then draft the plan in spring 2026 and support the approval process for fall 2026 implementation.

  • Surveys/focus groups across constituent groups to identify data needs
    • Students
    • Faculty
    • Staff
    • Administrators
  • Spring 2026: Draft Technology Plan and obtain approvals for Fall 2026 implementation.

Meeting Information

The Technology Committee meets by ZOOM monthly at 9-10 a.m. on the last Tuesday of each month.

Campus technology coordination serves to

  • deploy technology to create a dynamic learning environment;
  • meet students’ expectations for access to informational resources, the Internet and support for computing devices;
  • provide high-quality learning environments supported by technology;
  • reach the cutting edge of higher educational computing and technology deployment to support students;
  • offer the highest quality online learning tools/systems for students and faculty;
  • ensure all students have access to technology to provide student equity in the learning environment.
