Artist Talk: Athur Tress

Join by Zoom

FH Photography Professor Ron Herman hosts an artist talk with photographer Arthur Tress. Tress is one of the most renowned and innovative American photographers of his generation. Known for his staged surrealism and exposition of the human body, Tress’s work is rich with implication and fantasy. His book, The Dream Collector (1972), with staged photographic works based on his interviews with children and reenactments of their dreams is now considered a classic in the photobook literature. His images laid the groundwork for much of the theatrical, highly constructed work of today’s artists. This presentation is intended for a mature audience and contains sexual content including nudity.

For Zoom access, please RSVP with your first and last name and CWID to Venicia Massey at masseyvenicia@fhda.edu
