Language Arts

I grew up in the East Bay, the oldest of eight children. After high school, I attended Brigham Young University, where I received a BA in Spanish. I received my PhD in English, with an emphasis in fiction writing, from the University of Utah.

I have taught as an adjunct instructor at three California community colleges, beginning in 2004. I currently teach at the College of San Mateo, Foothill College, and Chabot College.

I'm the father of three adult children and currently reside in Belmont.
