Welcome to the Foothill College Space Sciences and Technologies (AstroTech) Lab 

Join us in the AstroTech Lab, to explore and learn about Space Sciences and related technologies. Develop your project here, and join student discussion sessions with our in-house astronaut.

Scope of the AstroTech Lab 

The AstroTech Lab is used as a space for the following activities: 

  • Explore space sciences technologies 
  • Use as a test lab for your project
  • Share information across campus 
  • Provide training for all Foothill College faculty, staff, and students 
  • Support space sciences-related curriculums
  • Provide exhibits and demos in both the Los Altos Hills and Sunnyvale Foothill College campuses 
  • Provide exhibits and demos for Foothill College events, such as the Possible Self Experiential - Day On The Hill event

The AstroTech Lab, along with six other technology labs, plus the ProtoLab (Prototype Lab), make up the Emerging Technologies Institute (ETI) group of labs.
