About the Program
Spend 13 days volunteering in the mountainous village of El Astillero, where you will support local school sites and experience daily life in rural Guatemala. Free time and evenings will be spent in the colonial town of Antigua.
Volunteer work will include helping build an elementary school in El Astillero and supporting a project that introduces digital tools and skills to local students. Participants will collaborate with local students in a hands-on exchange of ideas and experience the vibrant culture of the region ... which could include exciting experiences like going to a fútbol match or climbing Volcán de Pacaya.

You will also take SOSC 79 and CS 78C, taught by instructors Laurence Lew and Eric Reed.
