Career Hacks: How To Get An Internship

Networking, Skill-Development, and Job/Internship Opportunities

The series consists of five events focused on assisting students to network with employers, professionals, and like-minded peers, developing marketable skills, and, ultimately, obtaining internship/job positions. Students will interface with local professionals, develop their professional presence online, and gain the opportunity to apply to interview for a variety of exciting positions through this series of events!

Networking 101

(Club Hosted) Improve your networking skills at the workshop! You'll gain valuable tips and tricks for effective networking, as well as have the chance to meet, network, and receive immediate feedback from industry professionals. You never know, you might even form a real professional connection that could prove to be invaluable in your career journey!

Handshake 101

By attending this workshop, you’ll learn how to access, navigate, and leverage the college's platform to your advantage. Gain access to opportunities and connect with companies attending the Foothill Internship/Job Fair in advance!

Interview 101

(Club Hosted) You've landed an interview for an internship. Now, what do you do?  In this workshop, you'll learn about the skills needed to complete a successful interview, gain insight into what interviewers are generally looking for in a candidate, and tackle common interview questions to ace your interview!
