Covid-19 Updates
6.2.22
Students: Report a Positive COVID Case by clicking here.
Students NO LONGER need to take a daily health assessment to get on to campus. Instead, they can use their Foothill App to report a positive case. See link above.
Foothill College is continuing to monitor current developments and taking measures to keep students safe on campus. We are closely following Santa Clara County guidelines and will communicate with the Foothill community on a regular basis as the situation and changing county and state mandates require.
New Booster Requirement for Spring Quarter
Proof of vaccination AND a booster shot is required to attend in-person classes this spring. If it's more than 5 months since your second Pfizer, Moderna or World Health Organization-approved vaccine or 2 months since your J&J vaccine, you are eligible for a booster vaccination.
See CDC guidance for receiving a booster.
Covid-19 Information
For updates on testing, vacciations, and all other protocols, please see Covid-19 Information.
We're Open!
Foothill is fortunate to have opened a Food Pantry last fall thanks to partners Second Harvest Food Bank and the Community Services Agency. The Food Pantry provides groceries to any Foothill student enrolled in credit or non-credit classes who meets the self-reported income eligibility set by Second Harvest. But for students who don’t have a home where they can bring groceries and make meals, the Food Pantry is not a viable option. - See more at: https://foundation.fhda.edu/stories/FH_food_pantry.html#.WTH2qcm1t
The Gavilan College food pantry is a collaboration between Gavilan College CalWORKs, Fresh Success, Association Students of Gavilan College (ASGC), Second Harvest Food Bank and St. Joseph’s Family Center. The pantry is open all year long and serves the entire Gavilan College Community.
The Student Health Center at Foothill College is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. (closed for lunch 1-2 p.m.) You can also schedule a telemedicine evaluation.
Free and Low-Cost Medical Services
The Foothill College Student Health Center, in affiliation with Instant Urgent Care, is your access to quality health care on campus.
