You are invited to become more aware of Financial Aid, on-campus resources, and get assistance in completing your Financial Aid Applications on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10 am–2 pm
Enjoy a day of informative activities including exploring scholarships, beginning your journey in financial literacy, financial aid opportunities and grants, learning about additional on-campus resources, along with music and food!
Immerse yourself in engaging workshops and informative presentations for crucial insights into financial and financial aid literacy, including how to complete the FAFSA or CA Dream Application for financial aid.

College Financing 101
Wednesday, October 11 at 5-6 p.m. via Zoom
A checking account is a foundational personal finance tool—when used correctly. Learn
the ins and outs of managing an account, such as keeping track of checks, monitoring
statements, and account balancing.
Personal Finance for College Students
Friday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. via Zoom
College education is a prime time for young adults to learn about finances and plan
for their future. Attendees will learn about credit (how to use it wisely), tools
to develop a positive credit history and score, create and manage their own budget,
ways to track spending and options for student loan repayment.

FAFSA & CA Dream Act Workshops
The Financial Aid Office is working on organizing more FAFSA & CA Dream Act workshops. In the meantime, if you need one-on-one assistance with completing a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application please visit our Contact Us page and make an appointment by following the steps outlined below:
To make an appointment, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Visit Financial Aid Contact Us
- Click on the “Schedule an Appointment” red button
- Enter CWID and Date of Birth
- Click on “Make an Appointment”
- From the Reason Selection page scroll down and select “Application Completion Assistance”
- You will then be presented with a list of FA Staff members who can assist FAFSA completion. Select each staff member to see their availability
- Once you find a date/time that works, select that appointment
- You will then be taken to a “Appointment Confirmation” page where you will be asked to enter a phone number and your email address, enter the information
- Click “Continue”
- You will then receive a confirmation email with zoom information for the appointment.
