Counseling Quick Questions

Foothill College provides the following online counseling services.

Are You Zoom Ready?

Join our team for Quick Questions

Quick Questions is a great opportunity to get your quick, burning questions answered FAST!  Available on a limited basis, Quick Questions are generally 15 minutes in length and handled on a first come-first served basis.

  • Keep in mind that educational plans, academic probation issues and transcript evaluations typically require more time than the 15-minutes Quick Questions allows, so we recommend scheduling a 30-minute appointment for those types of topics.  We want to be sure that our counselors can give you the personalized attention and accuracy that you deserve!

Call 650-949-7423 to be placed on the drop-in list during those time frames.  For week of Feb. 14- Feb. 23 you may also call 650-949-7101 for assistance.

International Students

Appointments must be scheduled specifically with an international counselor for the following reasons:

  • I-20 Extension: counselor recommendation & educational plan
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT) & educational plan
  • Reduced Course Load (less than 12 units)
Note: Students requesting a reduced course load for medical reasons must meet directly with the immigration advisor in the International Student Office, not a counselor
