How to Clear a Hold

If you are restricted from registering for a class due to a hold on your student account,  please confirm your hold type.

Check Hold Type MyPortal

  1. LOG IN to MyPortal.
  2. SELECT Apps from menu.
  3. Under Students, SELECT Student Registration.
  4. Under Registration Tools (Classic Version), CLICK View Holds.
  5. Note which type of hold is on your account.

Contact the Appropriate Office to Clear Hold

Note: Holds may be from De Anza, if you've attend both colleges.
